M/V Maersk Alabama was attacked for the second time.
M/V Maersk Alabama was last attacked and was hijacked by money greedy Somali pirates on April 2009 also they captured and kept the ship's master for ransom. But the brave rescue operation by the US Navy SEAL sharpshooters freed the master from the Somali pirates. During the operation they killed those pirates who were guarding the master.
Today 17/11/2009 the m/v Maerskalabama was attacked by some Somali pirates around 350 nm off Somali east coast. They used automatic weapons to attack the ship while the guards on board retaliated with fire power which made the pirates to abandon their effort. EU Navy ships are searching in the area for pirates after they were called for assistance.
